Job summary

Vituity’s Truckee, California scribe program offers entry-level exposure to clinical settings, supporting physicians and healthcare teams while you gain firsthand experience. You will work alongside frontline clinicians, learning medical terminology and developing documentation skills essential for PA/MD career paths.

As a part-time scribe, you’ll commit to 2–3 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, with mentorship and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in snow.
• Strong writing skills and fast typing.
• Experience with medical terminology preferred.
• 1 year commitment at this site, continuous one year, not a summer position.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and health care providers in documentation and data entry.
• Learn medical terminology and gain hands-on experience under frontline physicians.
• Scribe during clinical encounters and accurately capture patient information.
