Johnson Health Tech North America Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Software Tester to begin a career in quality assurance for embedded Android-based systems.

You will learn to translate requirements into test scenarios and help shape testing processes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will author test cases, convert manual tests to automated scripts, execute tests in our state-of-the-art center, and work with product teams across regions to ensure reliable software that pairs with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE/Physics/Math or related field.
• Classroom project level experience with OOP (C++/Java).
• Familiar with Android Studio and shell scripting in Unix.
• Familiar with Ubuntu and Windows platforms and commands.
• Passionate about software quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Author test cases, test scenarios, test plans and cycles for embedded Android-based system.
• Convert manual test cases into automated tests scripts for execution.
• Execute automated test scripts in our state-of-the-art test center.
• Review requirements for product software design and specs.
• Collaborate with Product Development to develop and manage test scenarios.
• Communicate, prioritize, and track test execution, defects, and issues.
• Facilitate functional, regression, UI, and performance testing for features.
• Investigate root causes during the software lifecycle.
• Develop testing tools to improve reliability and efficiency.
