Job summary

TSI Incorporated in Shoreview, MN is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Technician. Under general supervision, you will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic assemblies used in a variety of TSI equipment.

You will interface with Manufacturing Assembly and Engineering, aim for 100% correct equipment and on-time shipping, and participate in new equipment checkout and final test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant Technician experience required.
• Electronic Technical AA degree or Certificate preferred with 0-2 years relevant experience.
• In lieu of Technical AA Degree/Certificate, 2-3 years electrical or computer engineering coursework as part of a Bachelor Degree preferred, with 0-2 years relevant Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical assemblies used in TSI equipment to the component level.
• Continually improve the setup, calibration and test procedures used on the new equipment orders.
• Provide training when necessary to the new build assemblers in your area.
• Communicate with engineering on product performance and functionality issues.
• Work closely with all personnel within the department.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
