Job summary

Amentum seeks an Electronic Technician I at Eielson AFB, Alaska. This entry-level role applies basic electronics knowledge under supervision and follows detailed instructions to perform routine tasks.

You will work with government-facing equipment, learn to troubleshoot to the component level, and support other technicians while maintaining safety and quality standards. Eligibility for a Secret clearance and willingness to relocate to the Fairbanks area are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of electronics maintenance or repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of DC/AC electronics and logic.
• Proficiency with multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and test electronic equipment per instructions.
• Operate and maintain electronic transmitting and receiving equipment and related systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to restore operation.
• Document maintenance, inventory, and compliance with QC/Safety programs.
• Report data and suggest improvements to technical information.
