Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is looking for a recent Electrical Engineering graduate to join our team as a junior engineer. You’ll validate control panels, diagnose issues, and work with senior engineers to turn test data into improvements.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with instrumentation, PLCs, LabVIEW, and data acquisition tools while building fundamentals in automation, controls, and system integration through mentorship and real projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0–2 years’ experience (internships, co-ops, lab projects, or professional work welcome)
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and systematic problem-solving approach
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Authentic interest in automation, controls, testing, and innovation

Responsibilities

• Support testing, integration, and commissioning of electrical and control systems for advanced electro-mechanical platforms
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, software, and hardware issues across lab and production setups
• Work hands-on with instrumentation, sensors, PLCs, and data acquisition/automation tools
• Interpret, update, and maintain electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Analyze test results and recommend improvements to system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team and learn best practices from experienced mentors
