Job summary

CarolinaPower is seeking a General Laborer to support electrical installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across projects. You will measure, cut, and install wiring, assist with conduit and equipment, and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

No prior experience is required, and a high school diploma (or equivalent) is accepted. A strong safety mindset and willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• No experience necessary.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity -- both are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Drill holes and pull/push wiring through openings as required for installation.
• Help lift, position, and fasten wiring, conduit, motors, and related materials.
• Perform basic repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, switches, and bulbs.
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment to support troubleshooting and repair work.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary to complete tasks.
