Job summary

PPC Partners in West Columbia, SC is seeking a General Laborer to support electrical projects by measuring, cutting, and installing wire and conduit, performing basic repairs, and helping with equipment installation. You will operate hand and power tools and assist with lifting and positioning materials in a safe, productive work environment.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Drill holes and pull wiring through openings for installation.
• Help lift, position, and fasten wiring, conduit, motors, and related materials.
• Perform basic electrical repairs (e.g., replace fuses, light sockets, switches, bulbs).
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment to support troubleshooting.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintain them in good condition.
• Pre-plan and identify daily hazards; promote zero-accident safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
