Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Arvada, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join the Controls Engineering Team. You will be responsible for all electrical and instrumentation on engineered-to-order pump and compressor production orders installed worldwide in refineries, petrochemical plants, and power stations.

You will report to the Sr Electrical Eng Manager, work on-site at our Arvada location, develop PLC programs and HMI configurations, and support continuous improvement while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Understanding of basic P&ID diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLC and HMI platforms, control system design and control system networks.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic instrumentation and control system engineering tasks with minimal direction and supervision.
• Develop PLC programs, HMI configurations, control system design and networks; FAT and panel test.
• Assist in development of P&ID's and associated I/O; design of junction boxes and control panels.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects and lead when needed.
• Travel to customer sites for kickoff meetings and design reviews.
