Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Electrical Helper in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This role assists commercial electricians with tasks, mounts and installs conduit, wires, and strapping, and aids in wire pulls under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 6 months or less electrical field experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain, and can pass pre-employment screenings. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 6 months or less recent electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
