Job summary

Actalent in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and modernization of power infrastructure. You'll gain hands-on experience with substations, renewable projects, battery storage, and power delivery, while working under strong mentorship.

You'll collaborate with senior engineers and CAD teams, participate in site visits, and develop skills across one-line diagrams, protection schematics, SCADA, grounding, and substation layouts, with a hybrid

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote)

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on electrical substations, renewable energy projects, battery storage systems, and power delivery infrastructure. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, receive strong mentorship, and develop technical skills that can set the foundation for a long-term engineering career.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with the design and engineering of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical substations.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
