BAE Systems is seeking an entry-level hardware engineer (<1 year experience) to join our team in San Diego, CA. This on-site role involves building, testing, and analyzing hardware results, updating procedures, and coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams within C4ISR solutions to support warfighter missions.

BAE Systems is looking for an entry-level/junior Hardware Engineer ( < 1 year experience ) to join our team beginning in Summer 2027.
In a rapid development environment, the qualified candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Tasks may include building, testing, analyzing F-16 and F-2 equipment results, running through and updating test procedures and confirming results, documenting parts and part lists, researching hardware, ordering parts, and communicating with manufacturing, working with different teams such as mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
