Job summary

RESOLVEM Inc. seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our Irvine/Carlsbad on-site team and contribute to medical device-focused product development. You will design circuits, build test benches, and work within the regulated environment under senior guidance.

This full-time role offers mentorship, exposure to the complete hardware lifecycle, and opportunities to advance while collaborating with mechanical, software, and quality teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
1-3 years of work experience; at least one year full-time paid commercial experience.
Hands-on schematic, simulation, and PCB layout/design experience.
Lab bench proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters.
Experience with electrical failure analysis and root cause analysis, including reports.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
Strong written and verbal technical communication.

Responsibilities

Design real circuits: capture and maintain schematics, PCB layout, and simulations.
Own the bench: build/test equipment and measure with scopes and analyzers; automate with Python or LabVIEW.
Hunt down failures and perform root cause analysis to drive design decisions.
Review and improve designs; participate in design reviews and ECOs.
Learn the regulated world: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, and design control processes.
Build complete products: develop BOMs, purchasing specs, and engineering drawings.
