Job summary

PNM is seeking an entry-level engineer to develop knowledge through standard techniques and procedures. The role supports projects of moderate scope, offers exposure to high voltage environments, and requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree with 1–3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities include basic engineering tasks, interactions with operational teams, and adherence to safety and industry standards. Some training and field exposure are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program with 1–3 years related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide entry-level engineering support for small and repetitive projects.
  • Conduct small or repetitive studies focusing on performance, cost, and scheduling.
  • Provide basic engineering support to operational areas.
  • Communicate engineering ideas, recommendations and evaluations.
  • Represent the Company in fundamental technical matters.
  • Provide entry-level technical support and interact with other associates.
  • Apply company and industry standards to ensure safety and consistency of results.
  • Provide occasional technical direction to contractors and lower-level staff.
