Job summary

TechPro Power Group is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer 1 to support electrical design, testing, and field data collection across power systems. You will work under supervision to develop studies and diagrams while gaining real-world experience.

This role offers exposure to NEC/NFPA 70E standards, CAD drawings, and collaboration with engineers and project teams in a varied field setting, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SKM Power Tools (or ETAP/EasyPower).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Technical execution and engineering design under supervision.
• Prepare engineering studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash) using SKM/ETAP/EasyPower.
• Develop and revise single-line diagrams and schematics.
• CAD drawing updates under supervision.
• Field walkdowns and data collection for analysis.
• Support project documentation, scheduling, and status updates.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, and Technicians.
• Learn and apply industry codes and safety standards (NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Prepare draft reports and maintain organized engineering files.
