Job summary

DHE is seeking an entry-level electrical engineer to join our Phoenix, AZ office as part of a multidisciplinary design team. Responsibilities include electrical system design, power distribution, lighting, and commissioning within healthcare and critical infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field, with limited practical experience and a drive to obtain licensure. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Architectural with Electrical emphasis).
• License eligibility: limited experience expected but capable of pursuing licensure.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Support essential systems such as fire alarm and data network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline design team in a casual yet professional Phoenix office.

Role and Responsibilities

DHE is looking for an entry level full-time electrical engineer to work as part of an integrated, multi-disciplined design team in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Responsibilities will consist of electrical system design and commissioning, including power distribution (including essential electrical systems), lighting, and special systems (i.e., fire alarm, nurse call, telephone, or data network distribution infrastructure). The best person for the job will be able to succeed in a casual work environment with a client-focused, yet highly professional culture. Curiosity is a must.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Architectural with Electrical emphasis)
• Limited experience in Electrical Engineering is expected, but shall be capable of obtaining professional engineering licensure
• Fluent in AutoCAD and/or Revit as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SKM Power Tools, ComCheck, LEED, and/or maintaining commissioning credentials a plus
