Dewberry is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our Birmingham, AL office. The role focuses on power distribution knowledge, computer modeling, and a strong technical background with attention to detail.

Travel across the United States will be required as needed for project work. We value eagerness to learn, quality control, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 0–4 years of experience
  • EIT preferred
  • Communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
  • Travel to customer facilities to gather information on power distribution components and topology.
  • Model power distribution systems using computer software, prepare electrical engineering calculations, and reports to meet project requirements
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required

Dewberry is looking for an Entry LevelElectrical Engineer to join a growing group of professional engineers in our Birmingham, AL office. Knowledge of power distribution and computer modeling is preferred. The position also requires a strong technical background, eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and quality control. Travel within the United States required.
