About the Role

GHT is seeking a bright and motivated Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college or university, with a minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience in electrical design. Candidates are encouraged to take the Engineer in Training exam. They are also encouraged to be active members or attend general meetings of technical societies related to their field of competency (ASHRAE, IES, ASPE, NSPE, etc.). We are interested in candidates who plan to actively pursue a P.E. License.

Candidate must possess the following skills, traits, and credentials:

• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in electrical design for commercial interior projects, including lighting and power circuitry and controls and fire alarm design;
• Working knowledge of building, energy, and green codes;
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting
• Capable of organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others as appropriate.
• Commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
• Motivated to excel and willing to learn;
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (recent releases) is also a must. (Revit is preferred).
• Able to travel to job sites and conduct site visits, including carrying equipment/materials; climbing, sitting, standing, walking, balancing.
• PREFERRED:
• Familiarity with commercial interiors design for office and similar space.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug test. Certain projects may have additional requirements.
