Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an Electric Distribution Engineer to join our local Ohio office. You will work within the Power Distribution Engineering team performing detailed design, drawings, specifications, and estimates for review by the responsible engineer.

You may guide Designers/Technicians and act as design leader on smaller projects, coordinating with clients and providing technical leadership across assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited program.
• Experience with GIS systems (Smallworld/GWD) and CAD tools (AutoCad).
• Ability to interact with clients and other agencies on project design responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual or computer-aided drawings of complex nature with attention to detail.
• Perform design work using drawings, specs, and standards.
• Assist in cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Assist in engineering calculations.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and design development to meet schedules.
• Gather on-site field data for design and monitoring.
• May serve as Project Coordinator on certain projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
