Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an Electrical Commissioning Technician 1 to support testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment under close supervision in our Tysons area facilities.

The role offers hands-on training, exposure to NETA standards, and opportunities to grow within a leading security and electrical systems integration company.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and a valid driver''s license to be considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years of experience or equivalent.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist field construction inspection to ensure NETA specs and plans.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
• Apply basic math, measuring devices, and safety procedures (LOTO).
• Prepare equipment for testing as directed.
• Assist in operation of load banks with PPE.
• Participate in ORM meetings.
