Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Truck Driver Transmission to support construction, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission systems. The role involves working at various locations and may require travel to another state per customer needs.

You will assist with overhead wiring, pole setting, transformers and gear installation, and support in fault repair while prioritizing safety and tool maintenance. Outdoor work and overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Capable of traveling long distances on short notice.
• Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• String overhead wire as part of new construction, maintenance or repair.
• Set poles and anchors.
• Assist with installing transformers, arrestors, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.
• Assist in replacing fuses and clearing faulted circuits.
• Work around energized high voltage safely.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
