Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry‑level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. You will assist customers in person and by phone, perform basic DIY services, and help maintain store inventory and cleanliness.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, good communication, and the ability to operate store systems. Part-time or full-time work is available; safety and vehicle knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Read safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math for unit conversions and transactions.
• Work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Hit personal and store sales goals; perform DIY services like battery installs and wiper replacements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; support truck put away, cycle counts and back stock.
• Deliver parts safely to customers and keep store clean and organized.
