Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business in our Wilmington, NC store. You will help customers, provide DIY services, and ensure inventory accuracy while maintaining store standards.

Strong communication and basic automotive knowledge are essential, with weekends/evening shifts possible. Prior retail sales experience and safety awareness will help you succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level sales role supporting the DIY business.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
