Job summary

Eversource in Stamford, CT is seeking a Distribution Design Associate Engineer. This entry-level role supports the Distribution Design Engineer progression, reporting to an Engineering Lead, with training for advancement to a fully qualified Distribution Design Engineer.

The position involves assisting in circuit planning, outages, and project support, with a chance to participate in major restoration efforts and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Electrical preferred.
• Zero to three years of Energy Delivery experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of distribution systems and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning for all assigned circuits.
• Provide engineering support for specific projects.
• Review outages and develop corrective actions.
• Assist with DG interconnection reviews and regulatory procedures.
• Create field work in the work management system.
