Insight Global is seeking a Distribution Design Engineer to support upgrades of a major energy provider’s distribution grids. You will own construction work packages, develop construction plans, and manage field data collection with GIS, CAD, and WMS tools.

Expect 15% travel and cross‑functional collaboration with project managers. The role combines office design work with on-site field activities, including measurements, notes, and driver of timelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience with electric utilities or consulting.
• Comfortable in both field and office settings.
• Interest in developing construction work packages for electric distribution systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own field work including notes, photos, measurements.
• Design construction plans and work packages for distribution projects.
• Schedule and develop construction plans.
• Bill of materials and scope of work scheduling.
• Travel up to 15% for customer requirements and meetings.
