Rio Tinto is hiring an entry-level Dissolving Operator D to learn and operate in a chemical production process delivering high-quality borate materials. Based in Boron, CA, you will join a safety-focused team with strong inclusion values and a broad benefits package.

You will operate conveyors, pumps, and tanks, complete paperwork, and monitor safety and quality while maintaining a clean, productive environment for our global customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work any schedule.
• Experience with pumps, dryers, and agitated tanks.
• Prior experience in a chemical operation.
• Effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Operate wet and dry equipment including conveyors, pumps, and tanks.
• Complete all paperwork, inspect the area for safety hazards and operational issues.
• Respond to safety hazards and operational issues.
• Work as a team member to maintain a Safe and productive environment.
• Monitor environmental aspects of the job and ensure quality products are produced.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
