Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Atlanta, GA is seeking an entry-level Dishwasher to support restaurant staff by maintaining cleanliness of dishes and work areas. The role offers fundamental training and requires standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate the dishwasher, store clean dishes, assist with basic food-prep tasks when needed, and help keep the dining and kitchen areas organized and sanitary. This is a part-time position reporting to the Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• Performing General Physical Activities: Must stand for long periods and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with moderate strength and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Communication: Must communicate professionally with guests, coworkers and management.
• Interpersonal Relationships: Adapt to different personalities of guests and coworkers in a team environment.
• Problem Solving: Recognize problems and resolve them with good judgment and initiative.
• Quality Control and Priority Assessment: Assess value and importance of products and customer needs to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, serving items and equipment as per sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Operate the dishwasher and check items for cleanliness.
• Store all clean dishes in appropriate areas.
• Maintain dishwashing and other cleaning equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.
• Load or unload food and supplies.
• Clean the garbage area and sort/remove trash.
• Assist with food preparation when required.
• Prepare trays and banquet accessories.
• Sweep and mop floors.
