TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SERVICES IN in Opelika, AL is hiring an experienced Trailer Technician to join our service team. You will perform preventative maintenance on trailers, handle DOT/FHWA inspections, and repair tires, brakes, and suspension systems while wiring electrical and ABS components and welding as needed.

Based in Opelika, this role offers hourly pay ranging from $26.75 to $30.25 depending on experience, with night-shift differential and benefits via our team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must possess or obtain toolbox and required tools.
• Team player mindset and professional attitude required.
• Occasional travel for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep our shop clean, safe, and efficient.
