Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Trailer Maintenance Technician in Sparks, NV. You will perform preventative maintenance on trailers, handle DOT inspections, and work on brakes, tires, and suspension systems.

Welding, electrical and ABS diagnostics, and some road service may be required. The role offers a 3x12 or 4x10 schedule with shift differentials for second and third shifts, competitive benefits, and opportunities for certification-based incentives.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
