Main Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance, tire rotations, lubrication, electrical and cooling system repairs on gas and diesel vehicles
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through training and coaching
• Assist with other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
• Customer service and communication skills
• Teamwork and outdoor work ability
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow safety and operational guidelines, including DOT and OSHA policies
• Regular attendance is essential
• Must meet DOT requirements for driving, including MVR checks, physical, and drug screening
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, travel for training, and pass background and physical tests

This position is safety-sensitive and regulated by DOT. Physical requirements include frequent movement, lifting up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally, and working in various weather conditions.
