Join the West Michigan International (WMI) team as a 2nd Shift Entry Level Diesel Technician. Hours are 11:30am - 8pm. WMI is a locally owned group of companies dedicated to providing top-notch service in the full-service truck dealership industry. With five locations across West Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Muskegon, WMI offers extensive service departments, complete body shops, parts delivery, mobile service trucks, towing, and exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for individuals with a basic understanding of preventative maintenance procedures and a strong desire to learn and grow in their careers.

Responsibilities

1. Perform basic vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance (PMs)
2. Shuttle vehicles in and out of the facility
3. Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
4. Coordinate repair parts ordering
5. Provide excellent customer service, keeping the customer's perspective in mind

Qualifications

1. Basic understanding of preventative maintenance procedures
2. Time management skills
3. Basic computer skills
