Job summary

Forge Truck Centers LLC in New Lenox, IL is hiring an entry-level Heavy Duty Truck General Labor Technician. This hands-on role involves inside and outside work year-round and is a solid start for a career in the heavy-duty truck industry.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with overtime available based on business needs. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, plus Saturdays 6:00 AM–11:00 AM as needed. Full-time position with benefits and uniforms/tools provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with heavy-duty trucks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck inventory.
• Complete minor truck repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Complete general yard maintenance (e.g., moving trailers).
• Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
