Job summary

CicKo Transportation is seeking an entry-level Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our dayshift team in Coraopolis, PA. This role focuses on maintaining trucks and trailers and gaining hands-on experience within a supportive group.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a safety-first mindset. CDL is a plus, and outdoor conditions are expected in PA’s summers and winters.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions (PA summers and winters).
• Previous experience in a shop or with vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Perform minor repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair wiring for lights.
• Fix air leaks in braking systems.
• Replace brake components including drums.
• Change and rotate tires as needed.
• Move trailers around the lot safely and efficiently.
• Shuttle vehicles to and from dealerships or service locations.
• Wash and detail trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
