Job summary

Aspiring dental assistants in Cedar Rapids can start without prior experience at Aspen Dental. You will receive paid, hands-on training through our DANB partnership and work toward becoming a CDA while supporting a community of patients.

Role includes assisting during procedures, charting, and infection control. Training across radiology and safety is provided; opportunities for growth and certification renewal are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within state requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Support patient charting for Doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
