Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an entry-level dental assistant to support the clinical team in Charlottesville, VA. This role offers paid training, a pathway to DANB CDA certification, and opportunities for radiology and safety certification through our DANB partnership.

We provide flexible scheduling, paid time off and benefits, and a commitment to growth and community impact. This full-time position pays $20–$24 per hour and supports a dynamic patient-care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Supports patient charting for Doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
