Job summary

El Centro Family Health in Northern New Mexico is seeking a full-time Non-Certified Dental Assistant to support our community dental services. Under general supervision, you will assist dentists and dental hygienists, manage patient records, and help coordinate day-to-day operations.

Travel to outlying clinics is required as needed, with emphasis on safety and patient care. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/BLS within 30 days; radiology requirements within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience necessary; entry-level position; experienced assistants encouraged.
• Must complete radiology requirements within six months from date of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Willing to travel to outlying clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance to the Dentist and Dental Hygienist across operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and oral surgical procedures.
• Assist in clinical, administrative, and staff support including records management and office coordination.
• Support day-to-day patient administration and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
