Job summary

Tecolote Research is seeking motivated individuals in the Washington, DC area to support US Government major Acquisition programs through data analytics and cost analysis. The role requires no experience but a strong interest in data analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

Candidates will analyze IPMR data, develop cost estimates, and support program offices with budgeting and performance reporting using MS Office and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in math, engineering, business, or sciences.
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework required.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly IPMR/IPMDAR submissions and related cost data.
• Identify unfavorable trends and areas needing management attention.
• Apply forecasting to estimate future program performance.
• Integrate data from program management, scheduling, finance, engineering and risk.
• Validate data for completeness, accuracy, and reporting compliance.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for reviews.
• Utilize ACEIT, Excel and MS Office for analysis.
