Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level Data Center Technician (Level 1) in Summerville, SC, to join a growing team. No prior telecom experience is required as training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude, work ethic, and reliability.

Responsibilities include pulling and routing cabling, labeling equipment, and supporting installation tasks under supervision. Onsite role with overtime potential and a Monday–Friday schedule, up to 58 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in physically demanding environments such as construction, trades, military.
• Comfortable working on ladders or lifts for extended shifts.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
• Reliable attendance history and dependability.
• Ability to work overtime, including occasional mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure cabling in a data center.
• Scan, label, and document equipment in a computer system.
• Support installation and build-out tasks under guidance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following safety protocols.
