The Archetype Strategy is hiring Data Center Technician Trainees for our Northern Virginia office. This entry-level role offers paid, hands-on training and a clear path to advanced technician positions within the data center.

What You’ll Learn

Our training program will teach you how to:

• Install and organize copper and fiber optic cabling
• Rack and stack servers and networking equipment
• Install cable management systems
• Read construction drawings and layouts
• Label and document cabling
• Use industry-standard hand tools
• Follow data center safety procedures
• Work alongside experienced technicians on active projects
• Understand data center infrastructure and best practices

No previous knowledge is necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the day
• Work on ladders when necessary
• Use basic hand tools safely
• Work in active construction and data center environments

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour
