Job summary

A nationwide IT services provider is seeking an entry-level Data Center Deployment Technician I in Barstow, TX. This role, ideal for candidates with little to no experience, focuses on labeling fiber optic and copper cables and performing quality control checks. Candidates will work under supervision to ensure standards are met and maintain a tidy workspace. Opportunities for growth and hands-on data center experience are part of this role. The position is project-based with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in a data center, cabling, or technical environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail in labeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Label fiber optic and copper cables according to client standards.
• Perform QC/QA checks to confirm labeling accuracy.
• Identify and report labeling discrepancies to leadership.
