Job summary

Moose Lake Village, a Cassia community, seeks an On-Call Culinary Assistant to join our culinary team. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities to learn in a healthcare setting.

You will serve meals to residents, staff, and families, assist with food prep, maintain a sanitary kitchen, and support a fast-paced dining operation. Hours vary by shift; compensation starts at $19/hour with raises based on experience.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided for this role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
