Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston, MA is seeking a CT Technologist I in a structured training environment to develop competency in CT imaging under supervision. This entry-level role is designed for new graduates and those early in their careers, with progression toward independent practice.

You will rotate across East and West campus CT locations, participate in onboarding, and work with radiologists to deliver quality imaging while building clinical judgment and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required (temporary MA license acceptable for new grads).
• ARRT registration or eligible in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or CT.
• Must obtain ARRT (R) certification within 3 months of hire if new grad.
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire.
• 0–1 year related work experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification via American Heart Association within 30 days.
• Experience with computer systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients for CT examinations with proper alignment and image quality.
• Enters instructions into the system and assists with monitoring scan performance.
• Assists in evaluating scan results for quality and completeness with guidance.
• Participates in image reconstruction, post-processing, and image quality reviews.
• Supports radiologists and team in routine imaging procedures and workflow.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures exams transmit to PACS.

Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology

Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license

ARRT registration
