Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Be willing to qualify with and carry assigned weapons.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who will pursue citizenship within 6 years.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Be willing to obtain a security clearance.
• Submit fingerprint samples for background check.
• Undergo a thorough background investigation and polygraph if required.
• Must not have felony or disqualifying misdemeanors; some youth offenses may be considered case-by-case.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing, a physical, and a psychological evaluation.
