Job summary

Pace is seeking an Entry-Level Courier – Will Train – to support safe and timely pickup, transport, and delivery of environmental samples and materials. You’ll help ensure sample integrity and data accuracy while following safety and transportation protocols.

You'll start with on-the-job training, work with a team dedicated to protecting communities and the environment, and grow into a career at Pace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain required licenses/certifications.
• Knowledge of safe driving and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies and transportation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials.
• Review, complete, and process documents and data for sample pickup and delivery.
• Prepare vehicle for daily operations, including safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Provide support to staff and management on sample transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and proposing improvements to processes.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, escalating issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency and participate in team efforts.
• Promote a positive, customer-focused work environment aligned with Pace values.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials as needed.
• Review, complete, and process documents, databases, and related information for sample pick-up, transport, and delivery.
• Prepare your assigned vehicle for daily operations, including documentation, safety checks, and basic maintenance needs.
• Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and recommend solutions to improve processes and resolve customer, staff, or management concerns.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, seeking guidance or escalating issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency by offering suggestions and actively participating in team efforts.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment aligned with Pace values.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related role is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License and the ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Knowledge of safe driving, customer service, and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies, procedures, and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
