Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Courier in the United States (New York area) to support environmental operations. You will pick up, transport, and deliver samples and materials, review related documents, and prep vehicles for daily routes.

You’ll collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy and safety, while upholding Pace values and compliance with procedures. This entry-level to mid-level role offers growth within a global environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain licenses/certifications.
• Knowledge of safe driving and sample transport principles.
• Able to learn and follow organizational policies and transportation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials.
• Review, complete, and process documents and databases for sample transport.
• Prepare assigned vehicle for daily operations, including safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Provide support to staff and management on transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and proposing solutions to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency by sharing ideas and participating in team efforts.
• Promote a positive, customer-focused work environment aligned with Pace values.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. What You’ll Do

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials as needed.
• Review, complete, and process documents, databases, and related information for sample pick-up, transport, and delivery.
• Prepare your assigned vehicle for daily operations, including documentation, safety checks, and basic maintenance needs.
• Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and recommend solutions to improve processes and resolve customer, staff, or management concerns.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, seeking guidance or escalating issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency by offering suggestions and actively participating in team efforts.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment aligned with Pace® values.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related role is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Knowledge of safe driving, customer service, and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies, procedures, and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good judgment, professionalism, and discretion when interacting with others.
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with GPS/telematics tracking and inward- and outward-facing safety cameras (no audio recording).
