Job summary

Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) in Allentown, PA is seeking an entry-level Controls Engineer to join a project team delivering customer automation projects.

You will work with engineers to design, implement, and document systems that meet client requirements. You will travel to customer sites, present work to clients, and collaborate with Project Managers and Lead Engineers to determine the best approach for successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelors (or higher) degree in listed engineering fields.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of programming concepts.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Displays a positive and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrates a flexible and cooperative working style.
• Willing to work off-hours when required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to submit to drug testing and/or background checks as mandated for employment and customer contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document systems that meet customer requirements.
• Communicate with customers on-site and in office to present work and craft solutions.
• Travel to customer sites to implement and test deliverables.
• Meet with PMs and Lead Engineers to assess status and plan approach.
