The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce seeks a Consumer Protection Specialist I to support regulatory programs, monitor agricultural-related businesses, and enforce state laws.

You will participate in inspections, licensing and certification of pesticides, feeds, seeds, and soil amendments, and you will help protect public health and economic welfare of Mississippi citizens. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of related experience preferred.
