Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Project Engineer to join our PECD program, focusing on in-field learning and developing critical construction skills. You will gain exposure to scheduling, estimating, budget control, safety, quality, and client relations while working with a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes mentorship, multi-competency experience, and future leadership opportunities in project management, estimating, and construction management. Extensive site travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required (prefer Construction Management or Civil Engineering).
  • GPA 2.8 or higher.
  • Minimum one relevant internship.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% of the year.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation from office to job-sites.

Work Travel

This position will potentially require extensive travel! While our team is based in the Manassas area, they will require extensive site-based travel for the majority of the year.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • The ability and eagerness to travel 30-50% of the year
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites
