Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES in Florida is seeking a Project Engineer for its PECD program. You will learn in-field construction skills, including scheduling, estimating, budgeting, safety, quality control, and client relations on real projects.

The role emphasizes mentorship and cross-competency development, with plans to advance into project management, estimating, or construction management. Travel 30-50% and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • GPA 2.8 or higher.
  • At least one relevant internship experience.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% of the year.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong documentation and organizational abilities.
  • Reliable transportation from office to job-sites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in scheduling, estimating, budget control, safety and quality across PECD projects.
  • Support business development and client relations, and coordinate field resources.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • The ability and eagerness to travel 30-50% of the year
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites
