Job summary

Hoyle Tanner and Associates, Inc. seeks an Entry Level Construction Management Technician in the Aviation Services Group to support Resident Engineers, Project Managers, and field teams on airport construction projects. The role may be based in our New England offices, including Manchester, NH.

You will assist with field observation, documentation, shop drawings review, and meetings with clients and contractors, producing drawings and calculations to document operations.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant experience is expected.
• AS (BS preferred) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA-10, or ability to obtain

• Perform field observation and documentation of contractor activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Maintain daily reports, project records, and other necessary documentation.
• Assist with review and processing of shop drawings, RFI's, submittals, and change orders.
• Take part in meetings with clients, contractors, and other interested parties.
• Produce simple drawings, tracings, maps, and technical computations to describe and report on observed construction operations

As an Entry Level Construction Management Technician in the Aviation Services Group, you will provide a broad range of assistance and support to Resident Engineers, Project Managers, Planners, and Construction Managers. The position can be based out of any of our New England offices (Burlington, VT, Chelmsford, MA, Manchester, NH, Portsmouth, NH or Yarmouth, ME).
