Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespersons and supervisors in construction tasks, including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment setup.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to established construction procedures.
• Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized construction site by removing debris, garbage, and hazards.
• Keep walkways, work areas, and access points clear and safe for all personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on tools, equipment, and site facilities.
• Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Distribute materials to designated areas, ensuring efficient access for construction teams.
• Safely transport materials using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations on the construction site.
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety practices at all times.
• Arrive punctually at the construction site, ready for work, and adhere to scheduled work hours.
• Maintain a high level of attendance and consistency in performing assigned duties.
• Collaborate with other construction team members and follow instructions from supervisors to achieve project goals.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Be willing to take on various tasks as assigned by supervisors based on project needs.
